Liquid Foundation Launch

Zao have remastered its Silk Foundation with improved coverage, a lighter formula and a wider shade choice of 11 shades. The light and silky formula evens out the complexion whilst letting skin 'breathe'. Not only is it great on your skin, but it also looks elegant on your vanity table, making the beauty ritual even more indulgent. And of course it is refillable too! The foundation is packed in modern and stylish frosted glass bottle with bamboo cap. The refill is now in a transparent tube, featuring a more ergonomic grip and sleeker design.

The new formula of the Liquid Foundation is certified organic, made with all natural ingredients. It contains several active ingredients that work to make your skin more beautiful, such as organic bamboo hydrolate and organic aloe vera, known for their soothing and moisturising properties, and magnolia bark extract, which has antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

Ingredient highlights:

Organic Bamboo Hydrolate is a silica-rich substance obtained by distilling bamboo leaves. It has a number of beneficial properties, including hydration and helping to mattify acne-prone skin.

Bamboo Powder is a white material extracted from the joint of the bamboo. It is also rich in silica. Thanks to that, it helps to hydrate, remineralise, and regenerate your skin.

Aloe Vera has been used in many countries across the world for its skin benefits for generations. It helps to repair minor damages, to soothe sensitive skin, and to compensate the water loss in dry skin.

Magnolia bark posses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. Anti-oxidants are great to keep skin from aging.

Beauty tip:

Use one of Zao Foundation products (700, 750, or 751) to prepare the skin. After warming the Liquid Foundation on your finger tips for a little bit, apply in small circular motions from inside to the outside all over the face.
