The Multi-Purpose Pencils intensify your look, filling out eyebrows, accentuating the lips, but not only that… they allow you to follow the curves of the face and body with their soft tips to create shapes. The melting texture of these pencils enables a smooth glide and an intense colour that blends easily under eyes.
ENHANCE THE EYES
Zao’s eyeliner pencils help to underline and intensify the look without irritating the eyes. Apply to the edge of the eyelashes for intense makeup. Draw a thick line from the outer corner of the eye. For increased longevity, blend it slightly, then powder it with Zao Eyeshadow using the Angled brush 706, either with the same shade as the pencil, or another shade to create a contrast. To enlarge eyes, apply the Nude Beige Pencil 564 in the inner corner of the eye and the mucous membrane.
REDESIGN THE EYEBROWS
The eyebrows play a very important role in the shape of the face and add intensity to the eyes. Its colour and shape can be easily defined and shaped with the Zao Multi-Purpose Pencil. Choose the shade that matches the colour of your eyebrows. Brush eyebrows using the Duo eyebrow brush 712, then apply the Eyebrow pencil to the areas needing to be corrected or intensified. Brush again to slightly fade and blend the product.
SUBLIMATE THE LIPS
The Zao pencil is perfect for redrawing the contour of the mouth and giving volume to lips. It can be used on its own or in addition to a lipstick, lip polish or lip gloss. It prolongs the hold of lip makeup and prevents it from fading. Trace the outline of the lips starting from the centre. For stronger hold, blend the pencil towards the inside of the lips by blending it with the Lip brush 708.
The wood used in the pencils is PEFC certified Californian cedar.

Organic Coconut oil: This is an oil known for its nutritional and softening virtues. It is composed of essential fatty acids, including lauric and linoleic acid, which give it its nourishing and repairing properties. It also contains vitamins A and E, which have antioxidant power to fight against skin ageing. Finally, it is also known for its antibacterial and anti-infectious properties.
Organic Jojoba oil: soothing and softening for sensitive skin. It protects the skin by strengthening the hydrolipidic film, which creates a barrier against pathogens. It is suitable for all skin types, thanks to its emollient and sebum-regulating properties.
Organic avocado oil: it is an oil rich in antioxidants that promotes the production of collagen. Nourishing and soft, it is an excellent eye contour care.
For a perfect “doe eye” effect, trace the outline of your eye while going up, accentuating the outside line.
Zao beauty tips for lip pencils: Draw the outline of the lips before applying the red or gloss. Start with the “V” of the upper lip and the middle of the lower lip. Then go up from the corners of the lips to connect the points.
Beauty tip for eye pencils: If you’re tired, do not wear makeup on the lower eyelid, as it will accentuate dark circles.
Beauty tip for eyebrow pencils: If your face is oval, choose the eyebrows with natural curves. For round faces, increase the angle to “break” the roundness. If your face is long, choose long and slightly accented eyebrows. Finally, if your face is square, make sure you set a “soft” curve to soften facial features.
